Professional Qualifications
Ralph Colucci is the president and founder of CVA Partners and has been actively practicing in the valuation industry since 1998. During this time, Mr. Colucci has provided valuation and advisory services on over 350 projects.
Mr. Colucci is a senior valuation and corporate finance professional with extensive valuation and financial modeling experience related to the valuation of business enterprise, equity, debt, options/warrants and intellectual property in connection with mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, divestitures, debt recapitalizations, solvency opinions, fairness opinions and tax & financial reporting for both corporate and private equity clients.
He has extensive experience working on buy side due diligence teams hired to conduct financial, tax and valuation due diligence in the execution of pre-deal advisory and corporate transaction and restructuring projects for both corporate and private equity clients.
Mr. Colucci has led the valuation due diligence phase with business enterprise, equity, intellectual property (IP) valuation modeling and accretion / dilution analysis through to post-deal valuation & integration for tax restructuring, IP transfer & financial reporting (purchase accounting) purposes.
Mr. Colucci has worked directly with senior management team members including CFOs, Controllers, VPs Financial Reporting, VPs Research and Development, VPs Manufacturing/Operations, internal and external Legal Counsel and Human Resources.
Prior to founding CVA Partners, Mr. Colucci was a director in the valuation practice for Grant Thornton LLP (GT) in the Mid-Atlantic market. Prior to GT, he was a director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s (PwC) valuation practice in Philadelphia and New York.
Mr. Colucci has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.
Mr. Colucci is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder with the CFA Institute and an Accredited Member (AM) with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
He has participated in guest lectures for undergraduate finance classes at Penn State University and has authored and instructed continuing education courses at PwC and GT.
